  The hardest thing for me did not actually have to do with being a woman but more so with my age. I was young when I started my business and I felt a lot of people did not take me seriously. I was always trying to prove my worth. As I’ve aged and gained experience that has seemed to fade!

  The most challenge I face is being a female, most time you are overlooked on some opportunities because of your gender. For me, I approach each opportunity with confidence and tend to be assertive when networking.

  Triniflavor, I think that is a very good way to go about it! Women are just as capable as men so we might as well show our confidence when we walk into each room!

  After reading all these comments, it makes a women feel like she can succeed in starting a business.
